Can I stunt real quick ?! Can I get my shit off for a second ?! I mean, what you’re looking at are still photographs, from a short FILM. Not an EPK, not a promo, not a music video, not behind the scenes footage…a fucking MOVIE !!! No label gave us money, no artist gave us any funds, this is outta pocket, our own pockets. You’re probably wondering, “damn that shit looks clean, looks good…crisp” ! Yeah…because it’s FILM. Yeah, THAT thing. Film. You have to get it developed, processed, cut, colored, etc. This isn’t digital footage, this isn’t a mini-flip cam, this isn’t a joke…it’s FILM. That’s the type of shit we’re on. Soul. Substance. Texture. Feeling…all necessities…of living in this “digital” world. Time and time again I see terrible music videos, wack visuals, lame music projects, because that’s what a lot of my friends do (rap/sing)…that’s the business I’m in…entertainment. And when I see all this bullshit, I wonder, why don’t people/artists fuck with us more ?! My OG told me, 1. they’re probably intimidated and 2. they honestly don’t know. They don’t know what’s what.
